CELL PHONE BILL HACKS | How To Lower Your Bill
The average cell phone bill in the United States is now $80/month. If this is you, I have a few tips to help you potentially cut your cell phone bill in half. Save your money and put money toward your freedom fund instead. 🙂
Tip 1: Know your needs and average usage
Tip 2: Reduce your data consumption
Tip 3: Find which company offers the best cellular service and internet speeds in your area
Tip 4: Comparison shop for prepaid plans from an MNVO telecom company
I didn’t want to make the video too long. Here are my personal thoughts.
This won’t work for you if you rely on your phone for your job, but if that’s you, you are not most people. I work for a real estate firm and my bosses and all the real estate agents in our office rely on their phones for their livelihood. They are constantly making phone calls, checking and answering emails, sending photos to clients, putting up ads on social media, setting up appointments, tracking their mileage on their QuickBooks app, etc. Their lives are on-the-go. For them, they truly need unlimited data plans to make money and I suggest they write their cell phone bill off as a business tax deduction.
But again, those kinds of people are NOT most of us. A lot of us could use less screen time. In a connected world where people are feeling more disconnected, please put your phone away in public and be more present with the people who are around you by giving them your full attention. This is my philosophy. Just by doing this, I use minimal data, as I mainly play with my phone during downtime at work or home where I have access to Wi-Fi.
